Kelly & Jake Say I Do at 500 Seneca

Two years ago I had the honor of photographing Kelly’s twin sister’s wedding in the Fingerlakes Region. And now I had the double honor of being there for Kelly’s big day! With the weather on our side, we braved a little bit of wind of the shore of Lake Erie to witness a stunning first look with Jake on Gallagher Pier of the Outer Harbor. The smiles and nervousness washed away as soon as they set eyes on one another. We jumped around from one of Buffalo’s many industrial spots downtown that provided a true sense of what it is like to be from this Rust Belt City. The ceremony, short and sweet took place at 500 Seneca, with the towering ceilings and glass allowing the afternoon sun to shower us in warmth. From the moment their ceremony ended, it was cocktail time! It was so wonderful to see all of their friends and family gather for such a special occasion and really break it down on the dance floor. I can’t thank you enough for letting me witness such a beautiful union!

Karen & Cory Get Hitched at Hotel Lafayette in Downtown Buffalo

Let me first just say that these two are the epitome of adorable. When I first met them this winter, we had a quirky, fun filled session romping through the snow at Tift Nature Preserve. Cuddled close in a blanket, these two couldn't stop smiling at one another. Their wedding day wasn't much different. Surrounded by their loved ones and friends, Corey and Karen joined together as one and then out danced the night away. My favorite part? Their bridal party surprised them with their own rap version of "Prince of Belair" that related to the two. All in all, it was a beautiful day filled with many memories I'm sure they won't soon forget. Let's give a well deserved congrats to the Stuff's!

Justin + Meghan's Adirondack Wedding Retreat in Lake George, NY

Give me a good destination wedding and you bet I'm all about it. Now make that destination the Adirondacks and you've really got my attention! From the campfires, to the smell of the woods on a dewy morning, I'm in my element. So when Meghan & Justin asked me to join them on their weekend away, I said yes before they could finish asking the question. We really lucked out for beautiful weather in October so it was better than anyone could have hoped for. With a small ceremony overlooking the lake, all their friends and family got to witness their heartfelt union to one another with the mountains to bear witness. Everyone switched gears into party mode once cocktails begun flowing and that dance floor opened up. Meghan herself DJ'ed the perfect 90's playlist that had everyone breaking out their killer dance moves while others got to sit around a blazing campfire roasting marshmallows & making s'mores. We ended our night with an epic sparkler exit surrounded by the laughter of all their friends and families. In my opinion, it couldn't have been more perfect.

Dylan & Ashley's Rustic Wedding at Akron Acres in Akron, NY

I met Ashley years ago when we both worked at a local portrait studio. She was my store manager, I, her employee. In that short amount of time, we bonded over how miserable our jobs were and various other things. Thankfully, we both found our way out of there and into a more promising field. Coincidentally, we are both wedding photographers! Dylan has been a package deal with Ashley since we met. He's goofy, kind and most importantly; fiercely in love with Ashley.  They met in college in Fredonia and the rest is history. I won't tell the detailed story but it really is super cute. I know plenty of people say this but they really do compliment each other and keep one another in check. They've built a beautiful home together and took this next step in spending their lives together. I truly couldn't be any happier for these two. It was such an honor to get to photograph the best day of their life! Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. England!!

Nick & Leah's Big Day at Kloc's Grove

Where do I start? Leah & Nick both have such large personalities, but together? They are electric. They were so goofy and more importantly, just so, so happy on their wedding day. Leah cried about 100 times (happy tears!) and made sure to make everyone else cry too. But how in the world do you top your groom running in for his introduction in a giant, blowup T-Rex costume? I'll tell you how. When Leah snuck a Smirnoff Ice under her dress to "Ice" Nick during their garter ceremony. I couldn't stop laughing for most of the day as I'm sure neither could anyone else. These two are truly one of the most fun loving couples I have met to date. I couldn't be happier to have been able to witness such a blissful day.

Heidi & Brad's International Wedding

Last winter, I photographed Heidi & Brad's small ceremony down at the Pearl Lofts. It was intimate and small but full of love. This time around, it was a beautiful warm day; friends and family flew from all over the world to celebrate their special day. It was classic, timeless and an absolute pleasure to be a part of. Did I mention there was a doggie too? Big thanks to Wilbur for his cooperation and cuteness. And also a special appearance from the biggest rainbow I've ever seen. Congrats to the happily married couple Heidi & Brad!

Emily & Tyler's Big Day

It's always so wonderful when I get to photograph friend's weddings. Not only am I helping capture the beauty of this day but I get to have a little fun with them too. Surrounded by the love of friends and family, we watched Emily & Tyler renew their vows to each other. The day from start to finish was fun, easy going and mostly; heart warming. Thank you again to the newly (sorta) married for giving me the privilege of being there for your day! See you later tonight for Game of Thrones! ;)

Veronica & Rick's E-Session at Chestnut Ridge

You know when you just click with people? Thats how it was when I first met Rick & Veronica just four days ago. We had a quick consultation over coffee and I think we both knew we were a great fit to work together. These two wanted to get some wonderful fall foliage engagement photos in, so we dived right in the following Sunday. The weather was a bit windy but all in all, it ended up being a gorgeous day. Take a peek to see more from our day down below!

Lexi & Anthony's Romantic Day at The Saturn Club in Buffalo

In addition to my own business, I shoot for a company called Lasting Impressions based in Clarence, NY. I started with them just shy of four years ago and have been growing ever since. I learned many techniques, the lay of the land per say and the overall ins and outs of photographing a wedding during my time working with them. Kathy & Tony are the owners of this business and in the short four years that I've worked for them, they have become people I admire and consider friends. Our time together will be cut short with my move this October but I can't thank them enough for the opportunities they gave me with my time here. Anthony is their son and Lexi, their new daughter. The joining of their two families was one to remember and one I won't soon forget. The love that circulated throughout the room was immense and overall, everyone had a wonderful time. So without further a due, Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Gagliardi!

Heather & Carl's Engagement Session

Heather and Carl came to me for an engagement session a few months referred from an old classmate of mine from college. We had a wonderful time wandering through Tift Nature Preserve, over to Gallagher Pier and then down to the new park along the harbor. And thankfully the rains held off just for us!
