Dan & Ashley's Union at The Hotel Henry

These two threw a wedding of a lifetime! With a pre-ceremony the day before at the beautiful St. Louis church in downtown Buffalo, Dan & Ashley pledged their love to one another in front of an intimate group of friends and family. Saturday was the day of the big festivities which all took place at the Hotel Henry. As a former Asylum for the insane which closed its doors forever in the 70's, this immaculate building was brought back to life in more ways than one last year. I had been dying to book a couple within these magnificent walls and not only did I, but Ashley is one of the kindest bride's I've had the pleasure of working with. I have spent years in the park connected with this venue with my dog Otto, laying in the grass admiring this architectural beauty to finally get to photograph the inside. I was over the moon! The ceremony took place right on the front steps, short and sweet. The night kicked off with many of group dances, light up glasses and a live band. I can honestly say I have never had a better meal than I had at their wedding! What might have been the best and a first for me, was when Chewbacca came to surprise Ashley out on the dance floor (pictured below). An overall beautiful and hilarious day and I couldn't be happier to have been a part of it.
