Jack & Sara's Union at The Lilydale Association

For so long I have loved this area of Western New York where charming meets spiritual. It’s almost as if stepping back in time when you visit the Chautauqua Institute. With fascinating colorfully painted houses squeezed size by side, this campus doesn’t allow cars so you can freely roam the tight cobblestone roads in this quaint community. The ceremony however took place at Lilydale and if you’re not familiar with Lilydale, let me give you a bit of its backstory. It started as early as 1879 as a meeting place for spiritualists and free thinkers. With a year round population of about 275 people including psychics, mediums, etc it has a staggering yearly visits of about 20,000. Sara & Jack couldn’t have chosen a more interesting place to become one. Our day was brisk one beside the lake but we explored its nooks and crannies. The ceremony was certainly one that could not be forgotten. Told with depth and genuine love that each Sara and Jack outpoured for each other as they held one another’s hands in the magical woods of Lilydale. The night eased into many speeches from friends and family talking about the happy couple and mostly their strength’s together. They ended their night the only way a good wedding should; with tons of dancing and laughter. I can’t thank these two enough for allowing me to marvel in their love story and capture it. Congrats, you two!
