Rusty + Sam's Short and Sweet Ceremony at Delaware Park

Sam & Rusty contacted me short notice to photograph their ceremony this past September. They were keeping it low key, keeping it small with their closest friends and family. We picked a beautiful spot right on the steps that lead down to Hoyt Lake for them to vow to spend the rest of their lives together. We spent the next hour or so moseying around Delaware Park hoping to just miss the rain that was forecasted for that afternoon and we were absolutely successful! Their day ended with a beautiful dinner set up right on the upper deck of The Terrace. A small speech was made by Sam’s father and right into dinner they went. As a surprise, their family planned a little getaway to Canada that night for them to celebrate. I still have yet to hear what the surprise ended up being but I bet it was nothing short of magical!
